Rural Handmade is a B2B organisation that connects entrepreneurs to communities that help them build sustainable and trendy products. We work with small businesses and help them connect with our reliable network of vendors from all across the world to suit their specific needs.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities: 

1. Comprehensive market research on the given products. For instance; pricing, material and description etc, you will learn about how to decide and evaluate the pricing in B2B businesses and get knowledge about 100+ types of materials that are used while making the different products.
2. Building relationships with new vendors globally by contacting them through different channels such as by using our CRM (Customer relationship Management) software system and going to the trade shows within your city.
3. Use tech platforms like Zoom, Google meet and Whatsapp for Vendor engagement and focus on digitising the offline inventory and unique products selections.
4. Looking for the artisanal communities and asking for their quotations for the same according to the needs and budget.

Skills Required:

1. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills, strong negotiation, management, and decision-
making skills.
2. Conducting research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product
quality.
3. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
4. Agility — you can switch gears and learn quickly, adapt to changes in direction, take feedback, and solve
problems independently.
